EYFS - Rabbit Class (Nursery), Fawn Class and Hedgehog Class (Reception)

EYFS

Children can start school at two points in our early years setting.

The Governors of the school will offer children a place in the nursery if they have turned 3 prior to September 1st of the current academic year. Admission to the Nursery takes place at the start of each school term  by applying directly to the school. Details can be found in the separate Nursery section.

When children are four, they can start in their Reception year and applications can be made through Suffolk County Council.

All classes learn through a variety of ways offering a careful balance of activities chosen by the children and focused learning opportunities led by an adult.

All the classes have large areas offering opportunities for indoor and outdoor learning. Our extensive school grounds enable the children to participate in Forest School, Team Tuesday and enhanced outdoor play.

Transition from Rabbit Class is enhanced through shared learning opportunities with Fawn and Hedgehog Classes as well as participating in assemblies, Key Stage productions and school lunches.
