School Uniform and Bags

Our school uniform is mid grey and royal blue.  Girls wear a mid grey skirt, pinafore dress or trousers, white polo shirt or blouse and a school jumper or school cardigan.  In the summer, girls may wear royal blue and white cotton dresses. Tights and socks should be white or grey. Boys wear mid grey trousers, white polo shirt and a school jumper.  In the summer, boys may wear mid grey shorts. Socks should be grey or black.

School uniform, book bags and sun hats can be bought from Wells Stitched Embroidery located at Unit 4, Station Road Industrial Estate, Elmswell (situated near to the bottle banks opposite The Fox Public House) Tel: 01359 244040 or ordered via yourschooluniform.com   Please do not send your child with a rucksack, as we have limited hanging space.  A bookbag for their tray and a drawstring bag for PE kit are acceptable options.  Thank you for your help.

All children should wear sensible flat black school shoes - trainers are not acceptable.  During the summer months school shoes should still be worn with socks as open-toed shoes, sandals and canvas shoes are not suitable for playtimes in school.

Extreme haircuts and excessive use of hair products is also not permitted.  Nail varnish is not permitted in school.

Please note that all clothing must be marked with your child's name, preferably with a sewn-in name tape.

PE Kit

Girls and boys PE kit to be white t-shirt, black shorts, black tracksuit to consist of a fleece and jogging bottoms, trainers and a spare pair of socks (especially for girls that wear tights).

Year 5 and 6 pupils take part in Hockey tuition as part of the curriculum.  Details of additional hockey items required will be sent home to parents.

Earrings

Please also be reminded that jewellery should not be worn to school. Stud type earrings are permitted, but to be taken out before PE commences.  Please remove earrings on PE day or ensure your child can take their own earrings out.  PE classes are timetabled throughout the year, to be taught by external providers.  It is their policy and ours and that earrings should not be worn for PE activities.

Many thanks for your co-operation.
